Mix

  • 1 mug plain flour and ½ mug table salt
  • Add ½ mug warm water, SLOWLY (not too sticky)
  • Form dough into a rough ball

   Smooth by kneading on floured chopping board

   Place onto greaseproof paper

EITHER –

  • Air-dry several days until set hard

OR

  • Microwave at 80% for 3 – 4 minutes

OR

  • Bake 2 to 3 hours at 120–150 C / Gas mark 2

        Keep checking.

  • Immediately after cooking, make any adjustments to ensure base of snowman fits together and can stand-up
  • Cool on a rack 24 hours before painting

We have received some good news

from the Council regarding the link path between

Morse Street and Towneley Park.

There are plans for it to be upgraded,

so let's hope it will soon be suitable

for prams and wheelchairs!

12noon - 3pm

Simple salt-dough workshop in the kitchen

with an array of prominent designs and Nativity Scenes

as well as lots of other activities throughout the Hall.

Children can roll out snowmen and stars to take away to finish at home.
